Final Count and Menu Changes

The final menu and guest count and menu changes are due 11/18/2021 by 5:00pm. Requests for changes made after that date may not be possible.

Payment

Katherine’s Catering, Inc. requires payment in full on or before the day of the event.

Payment may be made by cash, check, MasterCard, American Express, VISA, or Discover. All federal, state and municipal regulations with regard to taxes will be strictly adhered to.

Cancellation

It is the responsibility of the client to notify the catering sales coordinator if the client wishes to cancel the order. Orders must be cancelled prior to 11/18/2020 by 5:00pm. Orders cancelled after that time will require payment in full.

Food Safety

Client understands that consuming raw or under-cooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase the risk of food borne illness. These include sushi, Béarnaise and Hollandaise sauces and rare/medium rare beef.

Michigan Laws

A Michigan sales tax in the amount of 6% will be added to all orders. This agreement is made in the state of Michigan and shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of such state. This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and may not be modified or amended except by an instrument in writing signed by both the client and Katherine’s Catering, Inc.

Waiver of Liability

The client agrees to irrevocably and unconditionally release Katherine’s Catering, Inc. from liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, illness, death or injury sustained by any participant in connection with any food, services, personnel, beverages, rental items, props, entertainment, decorations or other items not directly provided by Katherine’s Catering, Inc.

Contingencies

This agreement is contingent upon the absence of strikes, labor disputes, accidents or any causes beyond control. The caterer also reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions if unable to secure specified items, but will make the substitutions upon explanation and notification to client.

The above proposal is the exclusive product and property of Katherine’s Catering, Inc. and is not to be used by the recipient for any purpose except in direct relation to transactions and contracts between the client and Katherine’s Catering, Inc.
